Horizontal Machining Center Machinist
Applicant must have 5 or more years of experience operating a CNC Machining Center, preferred experience is on a horizontal machine. Part sizes range from 50 lbs. to 5,000 lbs. This is a high mix, low volume (job shop) environment with lots of setup. Preference will be given to applicants with experience with a horizontal rotary table. Strong set-up skills are required along with some programming and editing skills with Haas or Fanuc-based control.

You must be able to machine large parts to tight tolerances, have the ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments, and be quality conscious. We ask that you strive to make yourself and your machine(s) produce at a high level, be adaptable to changing assignments based on the work load, be able to manage your work queue, accurately document your work within our system, and monitor and report your job schedule.

CNC Vertical Mill Machinist
Applicant must have 5 or more years of experience operating a CNC Vertical Mill. Part sizes range from 1 to 15,000 lbs. Applicants will program, set up and operate a Milltronics 30 x 60 VMC and other equipment as needed. Strong set-up skills and at least some programming and editing skills are required.

Quality Inspector

Applicant should have experience measuring large part characteristics to close tolerances using manual instruments. Experience with a stationary CMM or portable (FARO or Romer) is required. Computer literacy and familiarity with office products and windows file structure is expected.

Responsibilities will include: Inspection of short run or unique parts, auditing of instrument calibration, organization of tools and instruments, creation and completion of inspection reports and bubbled inspection prints in Excel or Adobe Acrobat, working to written procedure, completion of non-conformance documentation. Creating inspection programs with a portable (FARO) inspection arm, and performing inspections. Supplementary higher level training for FARO will be provided, but applicant should have some CMM experience. CAD system familiarity/experience is helpful as inspection to CAD files is often required. Experience or certification with weld inspection is not required but is a plus.

General Shop Helper/Metal Finisher/Delivery Driver

Mechanically inclined and experienced general manufacturing hand for machining and fabricating company. Should be knowledgeable, safe and confident around machinery especially band saws, grinders, overhead cranes and fork trucks. Good communication skills are required as well as the ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and written procedures precisely and thoroughly. Ability to read and understand technical drawings is helpful. We are looking for a quality conscious and careful worker who will handle and process high value materials. You will be driving company owned vehicles to deliver and pickup at customers and vendors on a daily basis. You may be called upon to assist with receiving, shipping, packaging and deliveries. You may be requested to assist machinists, welders, and complete material preparation, general assembly, and finishing tasks. Class D - Regular Driver's License is required with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.

CNC Horizontal Lathe Machinist

Applicant must have 5 or more years of experience operating a CNC Horizontal lathe with strong set-up skills along with some programming and editing skills with Fanuc and Milltronics control. This is a high mix, low volume environment with lots of setup. You must able to machine large parts to tight tolerances, have the ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments, and be quality conscious. Water Jet Operator

Applicant must have 1 or more years of experience operating a waterjet or laser. Mechanically inclined and experienced. Knowledgeable, safe and confident around machinery such as overhead cranes and fork trucks. Good communication skills are required as well as the ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and written procedures precisely and thoroughly. Ability to read and understand technical drawings is necessary.

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a large 5 axis FLOW water jet. The environment is a job shop with a wide variety of low volume and large work, often one high value piece. Cutting will at times push the capability of the machine and software to its limits of accuracy and performance. The operator will be required to program the machine using FLOW software, assistance and training will be provided.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the housekeeping and maintenance of the machine, its associated equipment, and area; which involves a lot of cleaning during cycle time, as well as component replacement and rebuilding due to the high wear nature of the process. Training on the technical aspects of machine maintenance and repair will be provided. We expect this area and machine to be maintained to a high level.
