EstimatorApplicant should have experience working with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the machining and fabrication industry. Good communication skills are required. Ability to read and understand technical drawings is expected. Computer literacy and familiarity with office products and windows file structure is also expected.
Responsibilities will include: completing RFQ’s from prints and/or models supplied from customers/potential customers including obtaining material costs and figuring labor hours/costs, then entering that information into our software. Identify and help develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
EngineerTrade Tech is looking for a mechanical or manufacturing engineer to support our growing contract manufacturing operations. Trade Tech creates machined and fabricated parts on the most up to date CNC equipment. Our target work is large in format ranging from tens to many thousands of pounds, variety and challenge are the norm as we compete for both prototype and higher volume work. The manufacturing engineer will study, plan and collaborate with others to determine the best course to pursue in fabricating and machining these critical components
Required skills include; Proficiency in SolidWorks, Applicants without SolidWorks Proficiency will not be considered, Familiarity with and a passion for machining and fabrication “making things”, Strong computer skills consistent with an engineering role, Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to; Creating Support Documentation for manufacturing operation including modeling and drawing, Designing fixtures for Machining and for Fabrication, Researching and Sourcing Materials and Manufacturing Processes, technical coordination with those suppliers, Engagement with Customers on technical topics related to manufacturing, A desire for knowledge and growth.

CNC Horizontal Lathe MachinistApplicant must have 5 or more years of experience operating a CNC Horizontal lathe with strong set-up skills along with some programming and editing skills with Fanuc and Milltronics control. This is a high mix, low volume environment with lots of setup. You must able to machine large parts to tight tolerances, have the ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments, and be quality conscious. We ask that you strive to make yourself and your machine(s) produce at a high level, be adaptable to changing assignments based on the work load, be able to manage your work queue, accurately document your work within our system, and monitor and report your job schedule.
Horizontal Machining Center MachinistApplicant must have 5 or more years of experience operating a CNC Machining Center, preferred experience is on a horizontal machine. Part sizes range from 50 lbs. to 5,000 lbs. This is a high mix, low volume (job shop) environment with lots of setup. Preference will be given to applicants with experience with a horizontal rotary table. Strong set-up skills are required along with some programming and editing skills with Haas or Fanuc-based control. You must be able to machine large parts to tight tolerances, have the ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments, and be quality conscious.
